Our Team

Ben Prasad - Pharmacist/Owner — founder and CEO of Rogers Drug Store.
Rogers Drug Store was established 33 years ago by Ben Prasad. Operating an independent pharmacy in a challenging area of Modesto has been a significant undertaking for Prasad, a graduate pharmacist from Washington State University. Through his professional education, courage, and dedication, he has made a substantial positive impact on the Modesto community.
Prasad is recognized as an exceptional pharmacist and a highly regarded preceptor for both the University of the Pacific (UOP) and North State University. Rogers Drug Store serves not only as a pharmacy but also as an educational center for pharmacy students who are passionate about their profession and committed to building a strong, healthy community.

Dr. Karina Paredes, PharmD - Pharmacist
Karina received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of California, Davis, in 2015. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from California Northstate University, College of Pharmacy, in 2021. After graduating, she joined the Rogers Drug Store pharmacy team and has since served as a staff pharmacist for four years.
Born and raised in Modesto, California, Karina values the opportunity to serve the community where she grew up. She uses her bilingual skills to educate, consult, vaccinate, and work with both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.

Tiffany Prasad - HR Manager/Owner
Pharmacy Technician Tiffany has been the co-owner of Rogers Drug Store since 2008.
She has played a key leadership role in adapting the pharmacy to the changing healthcare landscape, driving significant improvements that have transformed the store’s appearance and expanded its services to better meet community needs. Her efforts have addressed challenges ranging from supplier relations to enhanced patient care offerings.
Tiffany is a Board of Pharmacy–certified mastectomy fitter and specialist lymphedema fitter. She also holds a Pharmacy Technician Board of Pharmacy license and currently serves as the HR Manager at Rogers Drug Store.

Rosa Velasquez - Pharmacy Manager
Rosa began her career with Rogers Drug Store in 2000 as a clerk and became a certified DME director by 2010. Her strong leadership and problem-solving abilities led to her promotion to Pharmacy Manager. She takes pride in leading her team and using her skills to assist customers, remaining deeply committed to serving the community where she grew up. Rogers Drug Store is proud to celebrate her 25 years of dedicated service.

Ashwin Prasad - Intern Pharmacist
Ashwin began his higher education in 2017 at St. Louis University, where he studied aerospace engineering. After completing a year there, he relocated to Modesto and continued his studies at California State University in Turlock. He is currently enrolled at North State University College of Pharmacy and has been gaining practical experience as an intern pharmacist since 2025.
His long-term goal is to contribute to and expand the family business, Rogers Drug Store, transforming it into a comprehensive, one-stop pharmacy that offers a full range of services. His areas of professional interest include specializing in compounding pharmacy and leading the medication management team to deliver enhanced patient care.

Brandon Vu - Pharmacy Technician
Brandon Vu is a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to community service. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in criminology and has been a pharmacy technician at Rogers Drug Store since 2020.
Through his experience at Rogers Drug Store, Brandon has developed a deep appreciation for the importance of direct community engagement. He enjoys assisting others and contributing to the well-being of those around him. His role has strengthened his passion for helping people and using his skills to make a positive impact.

Nhan Le - Pharmacy Technician
Nhan Le has worked as a pharmacy technician at Rogers Drug Store since 2015.
During her decade at Rogers, she has been part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional patient care. Through collaboration and teamwork, the staff has efficiently managed high prescription volumes while maintaining a welcoming environment for customers. Nhan considers it a privilege to be part of a team that consistently goes above and beyond for both patients and colleagues.

Brittany Easterly - Pharmacy Technician
Brittany Easterly is a pharmacy technician and certified fitter for compression garments and hosiery at Rogers Drug Store. She has been a proud member of the Rogers Drug Store team for the past seven years, serving the community with dedication and care.
Throughout her time at the pharmacy, Brittany has developed a deep appreciation for the strong sense of community fostered among both staff and patients. She values the supportive teamwork within the organization and is committed to ensuring that every patient who visits feels welcomed and cared for.

Lizbeth - Store Clerk
Lizbeth has been part of the Rogers Drug Store team for five years. She deeply enjoys her work, especially the constant opportunities to learn and grow. This ongoing learning enables her to better assist patients and ensure their experience at the pharmacy is as smooth and positive as possible.

Alondra - Store Clerk
Alondra is a pharmacy clerk at Rogers Drug Store and has been with the team for over a year and a half. She particularly enjoys helping patients to the best of her ability, whether it involves guidance on a specific medication or an over-the-counter product. Alondra strives to make each patient’s pharmacy experience a little brighter, bringing care and kindness to every interaction.
